ASAP boosts the success of SAGSE 2025 as a logistics partner and looks ahead to major events in Latin America

ASAP, the official logistics company of SAGSE

“The 2025 edition of SAGSE saw more machinery movement than last year. We believe that the favorable change in equipment import conditions played a key role in companies' decisions, both to bring machinery to the fair and to start new business in Argentina,” said Galarza.

Changes in Import Conditions

Galarza mentioned some of the simplifications:

-            Elimination of the tax stamp regime.

-            Simplification of the electrical safety certification system

-            End of the PAIS tax, which was 30% for the gaming industry

-            Elimination of the licensing system (SEDI, formerly SIRA)

-            Reduction of payment terms to 30 days from the arrival of the merchandise

-            Certainty in payment terms (which until 15 months ago were uncertain at best)

ASAP and its experience with SAGSE

“For ASAP, SAGSE provides the opportunity to connect with manufacturers and operators, both in Argentina and abroad. This contact allows us to be close to the needs of clients and prospects, allowing us to continue improving our service in pursuit of operational improvement, which always results in a lower "We've seen a significant increase in costs for the importer," says Galarza.

Higher Quality and Higher Audience

"We see that SAGSE has improved its quality compared to last year, with a greater participation of companies exhibiting their products. We saw a large turnout, even though we don't know them in depth. But we have seen countless operators visiting the show," added Galarza.

ASAP's Next Steps

"ASAP is present at the most important events in the region. In the coming months, we have the fairs in Cartagena, Panama, and Lima, where we hope to continue meeting with companies in the sector to assist them with whatever they need in terms of foreign trade," concludes the director.
